“Flow: The word flow has many shades of meaning but most involve the steady movement of something”
On the road: is a technically improved version of my Back and forth spatial installation.
Performed for the contest; From the heart of the company; Bodegraven Electric Motors B.V.
Back and forth is a moving installation based on the discomfort that I experienced sitting indoors with nothing to do and without any distractions. In contrast to this discomfort, I experienced traveling as a moment of rest. The racing landscape had a rhythm to relax on and the coming and going of things on the horizon a peaceful scene. I turned this experience into a spatial installation window for interior spaces. A window with different rhythms and materials to relax and quietly dream away by.

A neighborhood office is a campaign against vacancy in residential areas where the vacancy has a negative effect on living enjoyment. The neighborhood office inventory ideas, dreams and wishes of the residents in the area, and explores how these ideas could fill the vacancy (temporary), and eventually create practical (temporary) designs for these ideas in the vacant buildings.

Stone heat holders are heated soapstones to keep you comfy and warm. Soapstone can become very hot and retain this heat for a longer period of time.
The stones are heated true a hanging system on a wood stove. When the stones are heated, you put the stone in a felt cover using gloves.
The felt cover protects the user against burning and contributes to retaining the heat of the stone.
This drawing comes from a 3D scan of one of the soapstones which I performed to investigate how you could manufacture the stones, lids and hanging systems industrially what turned out to be possible.
